A young Iranian woman named Sahar Tabar gained notoriety by attempting to resemble Angelina Jolie, a Hollywood actress, through multiple plastic surgery procedures.

Online discussion and controversy were generated by Sahar Tabar’s makeover, which involved a number of surgeries like liposuction and nose reshaping. Her real name is Fatemeh Khishvand. She was also given a ten-year prison sentence and was dubbed Iran’s Zombie Angelina Jolie.

Tabar never mentioned wanting to replicate Angelina Jolie but her audience persistently expressed wishful thinking towards the actor. Social media became her stage for showcasing her modified appearance through numerous uploaded photos. She presented gaunt cheekbones with sharp features as well as plumped and angular lips and a completely transformed nose. Doctors and institutions continue to dispute the actual number of surgeries completed by the main subject due to evidence showing the images might be digitally altered or heavily photoshopped.

Her mother cries every day to get her innocent daughter freed. Dear Angelina Jolie, we need your voice here. Help us.”
