The Oscar-nominated actor Alec Baldwin showed his support for Kamala Harris during the election that saw Donald Trump’s victory.
Alec Baldwin publicly backed Trump’s opponent. He addressed the camera and shared his political views in November 2024. According to Baldwin, who played President Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live and won an Emmy for it, Harris would lead the country better than her political rival.
“Today is Sunday, and there are still two days left in the election. People say, ‘Oh, the future of the country is at stake,’ and that may be true, but what’s really at stake is the next four years.
“Yes, we have issues with the border, and yes, what our military will be called to do and how we will pay for it, but the environment is the most important thing to me right now because there’s no going back,” Baldwin said.
He then made some remarks about the owner of Tesla and SpaceX, who supported Trump’s political campaign with millions of dollars and was awarded the leadership position of the government efficiency initiative known as DOGE.
“Elon Musk has ideas that seem to be good ideas—people love their Teslas. Elon Musk has ideas, but none, to my knowledge, will solve our environmental crisis,” Baldwin stated. “Maybe if the Musks of the world could focus their attention on solving these large-scale problems, that would be great.”
The actor said that Harris’s views on environmental issues were better than Trump’s.
Baldwin is now allegedly threatening to expose Musk’s secrets, claiming the tech billionaire does not deserve to stay in the country. However, no reliable media outlet has confirmed this claim.
