Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, an actress and former spouse of David Hasselhoff, has passed away at the age of 62. She and David were married from 1989 until their divorce in 2006 and share two daughters, Taylor and Hayley.
Her body was discovered at her residence in Los Angeles on Wednesday, March 5. According to the Los Angeles Medical Examiner, her death was ruled as suicide resulting from a gunshot wound to the head.
Reports indicate that her family had been unable to contact her and decided to check on her, as first reported by TMZ.
In a statement provided to PEOPLE, a representative for David expressed: “Our family is profoundly heartbroken by Pamela’s passing. We deeply appreciate the love and support we have received during this incredibly difficult period, but we kindly ask for privacy as we mourn and navigate this loss.”

Pamela’s final Instagram post, shared on New Year’s Eve, featured a heartfelt tribute to her granddaughter. The post included a picture of Pamela in front of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, along with a video of baby London.
In the caption, she wrote: “As we welcome 2025, my heart overflows with gratitude—especially for my sweet granddaughter, 🩷London🎀. Watching her grow and witnessing her radiant smile is life’s greatest blessing.” She added: “Here’s to a year of creating cherished memories, spreading happiness, and treasuring every precious moment!”
