A 66-year-old Ponte Vedra Beach resident is celebrating a life-changing windfall after winning $5 million on a scratch-off ticket, the Florida Lottery announced Tuesday.
The lucky winner purchased a $20 Triple Match scratch-off game at First Coast Energy on Corridor Road in St. Johns County.
Lump-Sum Payout & Store Bonus
Opting for a one-time, lump-sum payment, the man claimed $3,319,810 at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
Meanwhile, the gas station that sold the winning ticket will receive a $10,000 commission.
Another Big Win in the Region
This major win comes just days after the Florida Lottery announced that a Jacksonville man had won a $2 million scratch-off prize last Thursday.
Lady Luck is certainly smiling on Northeast Florida!
