My husband insulted me in front of his mother and sister — and they clapped. I walked away quietly. Five minutes later, one phone call changed everything, and the living room fell silent.

My son uninvited me from the $21,000 Hawaiian vacation I paid for. He texted, “My wife prefers family only. You’ve already done your part by paying.” So I froze every account. They arrived with nothing. But the most sh0cking part wasn’t their panic. It was what I did with the $21,000 refund instead. When he saw my social media post from the same resort, he completely lost it…

They laughed and whispered when I walked into my ex-husband’s funeral. His new wife sneered. My own daughters ignored me. But when the lawyer read the will and said, “To Leona Markham, my only true partner…” the entire church went de:ad silent.

At my sister’s wedding, I noticed a small note under my napkin. It said: “if your husband steps out alone, don’t follow—just watch.” I thought it was a prank, but when I peeked outside, I nearly collapsed.

At my granddaughter’s wedding, my name card described me as “the person covering the costs.” Everyone laughed—until I stood up and revealed a secret line from my late husband’s will. She didn’t know a thing about it.

Bobby Sherman was once the face that made hearts race across America — a ’60s heartthrob whose posters lined the walls of countless teenage bedrooms. Back then, it felt like everyone had a crush on him.

But now, decades after his rise to stardom, heartbreaking news has emerged — and it comes straight from the person who knows him best.
Sherman’s wife has revealed that the beloved singer and actor has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

In the 1960s, Bobby Sherman wasn’t just a pop sensation — he was the teen idol. With his dazzling smile, soulful eyes, and gold-certified hits like “Little Woman” and “Easy Come, Easy Go,” Sherman captured the hearts of an entire generation. He wasn’t just a voice on the radio — he was everywhere, from television screens on shows like The Partridge Family and Shindig! to magazine covers and bedroom walls. Fans didn’t just like him — they adored him.

But now, decades after his heyday, fans are heartbroken to learn that their once-swooning star is facing the toughest battle of his life.

Bobby’s wife, Brigitte Poublon, first shared the devastating news in an emotional Facebook on March 25: the 81-year-old singer and actor has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Though she didn’t disclose the type at that time, her words were filled with both sorrow and gratitude.

”It is with a heavy heart that we share Bobby has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer,” she wrote. ”During this challenging time, we kindly ask for your understanding and respect for our privacy.”

    Bobby Sherman type of cancer

In April, Brigitte revealed her husband’s specific diagnosis: kidney cancer, which she heartbreakingly shared has ”spread everywhere”.

During a interview with Fox News Digital, Brigitte didn’t sugarcoat the grim reality. She revealed that the once-unstoppable pop icon is now terminally ill and “at home with special care.”

“He was doing crossword puzzles with me in the last few days,” she said. “And then all of a sudden Saturday, he turned around and…he’s just sleeping more and his body’s not working anymore. It’s not. Everything’s shutting down.”

Sherman, 81, had officially retired last year, though he continued to engage with fans by signing autographs. But even that has now become nearly impossible.

“But now he can barely sign his name,” Brigitte shared, adding that he wants “to be left in peace” and spend his remaining time surrounded by family and their five beloved dogs.

And in one especially gut-wrenching moment, she recounted his final wish from the hospital: “His last words from the hospital last night were, ‘Brig, I just want to go home.’”

    Support from John Stamos

The outpouring of love from fans has been overwhelming, Brigitte said. “A lot of them have been really great.” That support has also extended to the couple’s close friends — including Full House star John Stamos, who has remained by their side emotionally even from afar.

Stamos and Sherman first crossed paths when the actor became an ambassador for the Brigitte and Bobby Sherman Children’s Foundation, and their friendship blossomed from there. “And we’ve been best friends ever [since],” Brigitte said.

Though Stamos wanted to visit, Brigitte gently discouraged him from seeing Bobby in his current state. “I told him I don’t recommend him come into the room where Bobby’s at right now,” she said. Instead, the actor sent a heartfelt video message to lift his friend’s spirits.

Beyond the music and fame, Bobby Sherman devoted his life to service — and not just through his work as a paramedic and reserve officer with the LAPD. Together with Brigitte, he co-founded the Brigitte and Bobby Sherman Children’s Foundation, a project rooted in compassion and aimed at helping children in Ghana.

“It was always our dream to do something for a Third World country,” Brigitte said.

“We opened up five and a half acres. We have a huge musical village with soup kitchens. We’re serving over 375 meals a day; we’re going to up that to 500. We have classrooms and computers and a music room and pavilions. We send them on field trips, we pay for the college tuition.”

    Married her idol crush

Though Bobby himself never made it to Africa, the impact of his heart and vision is undeniable. “That’s been our labor of love,” Brigitte said. “Bobby’s never been able to make it, go to Africa. I was always worried about something being kind of sensitive back then.”

Their story together began long before the diagnosis, and for Brigitte, it was the fulfillment of a dream. “I got to meet my teen idol crush!” she said, laughing.

She still remembers the moment she first saw him in People magazine, standing next to a friend. “And I saw that [and thought], ‘You know what? He sounds like a great person.’

Shermana and Brigitte Poublon got married on July 18, 2010, in Las Vegas.
