When Rachel and her husband Jack learned they were expecting quintuplets, they were overjoyed.

When the babies were born, Rachel found it simple to leave her job to take care of their kids because Jack was a truck driver who earned a good livelihood. However, something happened, leaving Rachel speechless.

Jack once departed early one morning for work and never came back. The police called Rachel later that night to let her know he had died in a truck accident. She would have to take over the position of the head of the household since Jack was no longer there.

She was at a grocery shop one day purchasing things for her son’s birthday, but the prices made her furrow her brow.

    Organic food for babies

“When did cocoa powder prices increase? $5 for such a little one? It’s already $50 and I haven’t even purchased half of the stuff yet! Jesus! I have some things to return.

Just as one of her sons, Max, began to insist on getting him some candy, she moved on to the next aisle. “Mom! Would you please bring me some candy? Would you please?

    “Oh, honey!” Rachel hesitated.

“You shouldn’t eat candy. Candy, according to doctors, damages teeth. They’re also a little pricey, and mommy will need to get the materials because she needs to make a cake for your birthday.

But the four-year-old boy wouldn’t get it. He started crying loudly, which drew some of the shoppers’ attention. “No, Mommy!” I want it! “I want candy!”

“Yes, Mommy!” We want candy, too! PLEASE!!!” The other four guys all sobbed at the same time.

“How hard is it to check the prices before buying something?” The cashier, Lincy, complained.

“You’re $10 short, so I’ll have to take some things out of here.”

She picked up the chocolate cookies, candy bars, and a few other goods and started preparing the bill, but Rachel interrupted her.

“Oh, please do not remove those goods. Okay, let’s do one thing. I will take the bread and… Rachel started picking and choosing which objects to discard.

Help can sometimes come from unexpected places.

He was wandering around when he happened upon an elderly woman.

    Maternity Pillows

“Hi, young man! I am Mrs. Simpson. What is your name? What are you doing here alone?” She inquired gently and smiled at him.

Hello, Mrs. Simpson. I am Max, and I am four years old. “How old are you?”

The older woman flushed. “I am just a little older than you, Max. Let us say 70. “Where’s your mother?”

“Mommy is fighting with somebody. She says mommy doesn’t have enough money, so we have to leave some items here.

“Oh, is that so?” Mrs. Simpson enquired, worriedly. “Can you take me to your mommy?”

“Look, woman!” If you can’t afford anything, don’t come here in the first place! Now, move! Other customers are waiting for their turn!”

“No, please wait…” Rachel had just started speaking when a voice interrupted her.

“There’s no need to remove those items. Your bill is already covered!”

“Oh no, please,” Rachel interjected. “I am afraid I won’t be able to take that from you. “It is fine.”

“Don’t worry, it’s fine,” the elder woman said, and Rachel eventually gave in.

Rachel couldn’t stop praising her as they left the store after paying their expenses.

“Thank you so much for your help. I’m sorry I can’t pay you right now, but please come visit us sometime. “Here, this is my address,” she said, handing her a note on which she had written her address. “I’d like to treat you to tea and cookies. “I bake pretty delicious cookies.

The boys waved back, and Rachel was perplexed when Mrs. Simpson addressed Max’s name specifically. “Do you know Mrs. Simpson, honey?” She asked Max gently.

“Yes, mommy! I told her you were fighting, so she helped you.”

“Oh, she’s such a sweetheart!” Rachel thought as she walked back to her car.

The next day, there was a knock on her door. “Oh, Mrs. Simpson! Please come in. You came at the right time! I just baked some cookies,” Rachel said, showing her the way inside.

As the older woman took a seat, Rachel brought her some cookies and a  cup of tea.

“Oh, you didn’t have to go to all that trouble,” she replied, reaching for the teacup.

“Do you live alone with your children?”

“Actually, my husband died last year, so I’ve been parenting my children alone. Unfortunately, I am not working right now, therefore money is tight. I ran a small business selling knitted sweaters and caps, but no one buys them in the summer, so I’m still seeking for work.”

“In that case, why don’t you join me at my clothing store?” The elder woman proposed.

“I need an assistant and would be delighted to have you. Don’t worry, I can care after your children for you. My husband died many years ago, and we had no children. So I’m just an elderly lady counting the days before God calls her home.”

“Of course, Mrs. Simpson!” Rachel said as she wiped away her tears. She started working at Mrs. Simpson’s store the next day, worked hard for months in a row, and got promoted to the role of supervisor.

When she showed Mrs. Simpson her design samples one day, the older woman recommended she start a side business and encouraged her to share some of her works on social media.
